Rising from the ashes of the pandemic in 2020, a band emerged that shook up the hardcore scene: Pain of Truth. This Long Island, New York quintet distils classic New York hardcore into its purest, most crushing form. Expect aggressive riffs, pummelling breakdowns, and that unmistakable 90s swagger – all delivered with modern-day urgency.

While most bands take years to build a reputation, Pain of Truth sold out their very first shows immediately – a trend that hasn’t slowed down since. Their debut album, “Not Through Blood” (2023) – featuring guest spots from legends like Terror, Madball, and Trapped Under Ice – was instantly hailed as the NYHC album of recent years. This was followed by the “Coast to Coast” split with Sunami and a relentless global touring schedule.

September 2026 sees the release of their highly anticipated, self-titled second album, produced by none other than Will Putney (Body Count, Incendiary, Counterparts). One listen is all it takes to understand why Pain of Truth is more than just a band name – it’s a mantra. Hardcore fans simply cannot miss this show; Pain of Truth is a live band through and through – one that crackles with raw energy.

Support comes from two of the scene’s most exciting acts right now. Hailing from San Jose, California, is Big Boy, delivering the kind of raw, high-energy beatdown hardcore that represents the Bay Area like no other – and establishing themselves as one of the modern scene’s most beloved live acts. Joining them from Paris is Headbussa: featuring tight, menacing riffs and a raw street mentality, they’ve become one of the heaviest names in European hardcore following tours with Knocked Loose, Deafheaven, and Terror. Like Pain of Truth, both bands are signed to Daze Records. It’s going to be explosive!
