Eddie 9V
Eddie 9V didn’t build his reputation through massive marketing campaigns, but simply by touring relentlessly. His distinctive blend of blues, rock, country, and soul has taken him all the way from Atlanta to Nijmegen. He brings his upcoming album, “Down Here”, to the stage at Doornroosje.
Expect gritty guitars, powerful vocals, and timeless Southern rock with a modern twist. His sound has resonated in countless bars, clubs, and festivals. Eddie’s grassroots approach has helped him become a crowd favourite within the American roots scene.
He isn’t afraid to take unexpected paths, boldly combining personal, often ambiguous lyrics with impressive guitar solos. Drawing inspiration from artists like Al Green, Freddie King, Howlin’ Wolf, and The Allman Brothers, the result is unmistakably Eddie 9V: raw, honest, and steeped in the Southern soul and blues that have made such a strong impression in recent years.
